Fishing didn’t make it onto the list. The war of words hotted up between the SNP and the Tories.

  1. It’s difficult not to feel some schadenfreude at the predicament of the fishermen who it would seem had voted for Brexit, voted for the Tories and it looked like they had won the jackpot, with the mighty Bertie Armstrong acting as cheerleader (whatever happened to him?). Was it cupidity or stupidity that led them to being holed bellow the waterline? So no fish pie today and now all hands on deck say the struggle is for post 2020 when all the promises of overflowing nets and sky high prices will be realised. Do they really think they have that much political and financial muscle? At best we can say that they have been a catch of “useful idiots” by narrow political ideologues; at worst getting what they deserve for their pure self-interest.
